Micah Lemen-Warry-Smith is a teacher and filmmaker from Toronto and a graduate of George Brown’s Teacher’s College, studying Early Childhood Education. With over 30 years in the film and television industry he has spent more time reading scripts than books.

Since joining the DGC almost two decades ago, Micah has raised through the ranks as an Assistant Director, becoming a 1st AD on some major TV shows (ABC’s Designated Survivor, and feature film “The F Word”) .

Mixing his extensive background in visual media, his training as a teacher, and his love for storyline telling, Micah is eager to show the next generation of filmmakers how movies come together.
